so much has happened in the last month or so since i updated! first, the snow cuts glass album has reached near-completion, ancille's debut EP arrived fresh from the pressing plant, and keenan turned 18, so bathtub & co. celebrated with cheesecake and ice-skating.

snow cuts glass went back into the studio in april and redid a few vocal tracks, as well as adding glockenspiel (a present to studio shimmer from keenan) on a couple of songs. mixing is done, and the finals are on their way to be mastered by our wonderful, wonderful friend james nixon. the artwork is also being printed this week, and should arrive shortly. woo! if all goes well, we plan to have copies ready for their next show on may 29th. copies will most definitely be available on their three-week west coast tour with in ink please.

as mentioned, snow cuts kelly's other band, ancille, has just released a wonderful EP entitled the flash and hum (woj016) out on our brother label, west of january records. because of our familial ties, it can now be ordered through us. we highly highly recommend it, if just to hear kelly go all screamy. the artwork is preeeetty, too.

jackson had quite the time taking pictures with my camera, so photos of our excursion to the ice rink for keenan's birthday have been posted for your voyeuristic enjoyment!
